Medullan to Present at Mass Health Data Consortium's Internet Professionals Forum
5/29/08 - A Web of Cost and Quality: Designing and Building a Website for the Health Care Quality and Cost Council.
Massachusetts is creating an innovative effort to communicate cost and quality data to healthcare consumers. This is a challenging effort:
- How do you make the site user-friendly?
- How do you ensure clinical and statistical validity?
- How do you ensure transparency of data sources?
- How do you meet the above objectives while complying with the state’s Web design requirements?
- How do you communicate complex clinical and cost information in a simple and easy to understand manner?
Medullan is the Web design contractor for the Health Care Quality and Cost Council. The Council’s Website is scheduled to launch in late June. This presentation will give an early look at the site, as well as the approach to the site design, the Council’s objectives and rationale, the interaction with other vendors in the project, and the technical architecture for the effort.
