BOSTON, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Medullan, a digital health firm that designs and builds powerful solutions that achieve high rates of adoption for payers, providers, life sciences and pharma, today announced the expansion of its operations to Orlando, Florida. Entering this market will aid the rapidly expanding firm in establishing a center of excellence in the southeast for all of Medullan's practice areas including digital strategy, technology innovation and user experience.
"We are growing at a rapid pace with both new and existing clients, and the expansion of a new office in Orlando will support this growth," said Medullan Founder and CEO Ahmed Albaiti. "Given Orlando's digital and health innovation focus of Lake Nona's Medical City, the GuideWell UST Global Innovation Center and the opportunity to work with local visionaries, our decision to expand to the area was natural. Orlando continues to be a hotbed for innovative collaboration and inspires potential for so many industries that call it home, and we're excited to join the neighborhood."
As a member of the GuideWell Innovation CoRE™, Medullan is currently operating out of the GuideWell UST Global Innovation Center in Lake Nona that opened in March 2016. The GuideWell Innovation CoRE, housed in a 30,000 square foot space within the center, brings together a growing network of companies, academic institutions, entrepreneurs and public institutions in the heart of Lake Nona's expanding medical research and education community.
"The GuideWell Innovation CoRE space at Lake Nona Medical City was established for companies like Medullan that are helping transform the health care and life science industries," said Renee Finley, head of GuideWell Innovation. "The convergence of expertise with industry thought leaders from around the globe in Lake Nona is confirmation that Orlando continues to be an epicenter for attracting the brightest minds in the industry."
The expansion comes on the heels of new additions to Medullan's client roster in the life sciences industry. The company, which is headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., also has offices in Washington D.C., Orlando Fla., Kingston, Jamaica and Trinidad.
